I was cleared by the sports doc yesterday to run as long as I "take it easy" and continue on the foam roller a lot.  I did 3.3 on the treadmill tonight with a run/walk combo.  I would run for a while (0.50-1.0 depending on which time) and then walk .50 at a 15 minute pace to rest my knee a bit.  I could definitely feel a slight pain but I was so happy to be running!  I hope to get in a long run this weekend pending weather.  I definitely will not be doing it on the treadmill.......  I'd rather saw my arm off with a dull butter knife!
