Got a little more sleep last night.  Not much.  I was playing on the computer until after 1AM and the trash trucks were quite loud at 5AM - lovely.

Walked 10 miles in and around Washington DC today.  Having a great time so far!  After a big dinner and 2 glasses of wine, I'm thinking no treadmill for me tonight.  Hopefully I'll get a run in tomorrow.

I love this city!

You got a great shot of the monument! Beautiful sky & the flags are waving in the breeze...and no traffic? how did that happen???

It's easy to get lots of miles in walking around. I had intentions of running when we went on vacation last year, but I walked all day every day, and my legs & brain were too tired to run. I didn't run at all, and I can't say I regret it.

Have a great day in DC- hope the weather stays nice & beautiful for you.

I'm in DC for the week too. I have found some pretty neat runs if you want to join me.

I am glad you are having a fun time! 10 miles is a lot of walking.

DC is one of my favorite cities. I love that place. I think I walked about 80 miles the week I was there. Have a great time!

Enjoy your time in D.C. Don't stress to much about running, particularly with all that walking.

Say hi to blogger Argentinerocket while you're there.

photography is probably my favorite hobby. i was patient and waited until the traffic cleared. i took hundreds of pictures yesterday and likes about 2 of them... picky.

i've pretty much given up on running while here. walking 10 miles is much harder than running 10 miles.

That's a lot of walking! Hmmm I wouldn't drink and run either LOL!
