Cooked breakfast for my wonderful mama this morning!

Ran 2.2 miles with the guy that got me into running in the first place, Eric.  He is a good buddy, and unfortunately we don't ever run together because he is way toooooooo speedy for me.  This was his first run since completing 171 miles earlier in the week running the entire Pinhoti trail in the state of Alabama.  Another local runner ran the entire trail, Alabama to Georgia (335 miles), this past week too.  They were trying to set "fastest known time" records for the trail and succeeded!  They are so inspiring.  Anyways, Eric was burdened with some major foot problems during the run so he took today nice and easy.  It was nice to chat with him and hear stories about his week in the woods and just catch up on life.  I'd say our pace was about 9:15.  I didn't take my watch.

Immediately following running, I went to an hour of yoga.  It was much harder to do after running.  She worked us very hard tonight.  I enjoyed it in an "I hate you" kinda way.

Then, a late movie with my mom, brother, and sister-in-law for Mother's Day.  We saw "The Last Song" with Miley Cyrus.  I do not recommend it to anyone with a brain.  Your kids will probably enjoy it if they like Hannah Montana.  I, personally, have never seen the show and am now thanking my lucky stars for that blessing.

I hope that all you mama's had a wonderful Mother's Day!!!  We came home and had a cake that I decorated at 11:45 to end the day right.  Perfect!

What a great day! That was nice of you to cook breakfast for your mom.

I am sure your mom appreciated the breakfast! I always love that part of mother's day. I always do yoga after running, because my trainer says its bad to do it before. It does make the yoga really hard, though! I'm usually pretty tired and need FOOD!

Eric's adventure sounds awesome. It would take me a long time to run that kind of distance, but what a cool thing to do! I'll bet his stories were great.

Your day sounds marvelous. B-fast for mom, run, yoga, family time, and cake!

I think the book might be a good story, and I might read it sometime, but I'm with you and have no desire to watch the movie.

That sounds like the perfect day to me (minus the Miley movie) :)

Nice work all around, for you mom and Eric! What an amazing adventure he must have had.

I'm with you on the movie, but I work with a girl that wants to see it SO bad...so when it's in the dollar theater I'll probably have to live through it *sigh* I guess getting paid to watch it can't be that bad, right?

Nice workout. Have you run today yet? :)
