6@6AM.  Easy on the dreadful greenway.

Then 6 mountain biking on the trails.  I wanted to do more, but my friend was hungover sooooo bad.  Haha.  He was not happy about our early start time, but I told him he should've thought about that before drinking so much the night before when we had already agreed upon our meeting time.  No sympathy here.

Last Sunday in church, my preacher said something that I can not get out of my head:

"One person you will never satisfy is yourself."

So true.  Run faster.  Make better grades.  Have a better job.  Read the Bible more.  Run longer distances.  Save more money.  I could go on and on.  I'm never satisfied, but I try to work towards my goals every single day.  Anyways, I thought I would share.

I hope y'all are all having a fantastic weekend!

That is so true! We are our toughest critics. I am not very pleased with my running as of late that is for sure!

Onward and upward...as long as we're in the right direction we have to let up on ourselves a bit. Trust me, I've been down the road of not being satisfied with myself too many years. Look where you've come from and enjoy the journey!

Nice work on the early waking time and running miles. Can't wait for your 1/2!!

Good for you holding your friend to that early morning run! Sounds like that was a pretty good sermon if you're still thinking about it :) I love it when my Pastor gets my attention like that!

You haven't posted any pictures in a while.... what's up?

nice job getting the early morning run and bike ride in.

I agree with RAD- we do have the tendency to be tough on ourselves, but ENJOY THE JOURNEY.

I LOVE that quote! I always feel like I am one step behind in EVERYTHING! My main goal right now is to be "in step" with my kids and hubby. They are the most important.

Thanks for sharing!
