(currently observing my boss freak out about a mistake she made and snickering to myself...)

Trails; my slice of heaven.

Legs were dead the whole time.  I assume from hills on Monday.

Planning a surprise party for another one of our running friends during the run.

Face planted about .25 into the run; knew it would be a good day after that!

Saw a ton of other folks out today:  runners, mountain bikers, and hikers.

Hit a mailbox on my way home because I was looking at a cute dog.  Argh.

Watch out for thoise darn mailboxes they can be hazardous!:) I ran into a garbage can once, so I have no room to talk.

Hope your car wasn't too damaged from the mailbox. If people would just keep those mailboxes on a leash so they wouldn't jump out at people driving down the road like that. :-)

I like trail running too. It just feels more natural than pavement.

Hope your legs find their energy again soon and your party is fabulous.

If you eat a live frog every morning, nothing worse can happen to you all day :) That's what I thought when your face plant came early in the run, I guess it's best to get it over with. Honestly, that is why I don't do much/any trail running, because I am a klutz and deathly afraid of hurting myself on a trail run!

Hope the mailbox didn't do too much damage to your sweet ride!

Hot! Yesterday was low 90's pretty dry though... If I was dealing with the humidity too... augh. At least the dog wasn't chasing you....

Did you hit the mailbox while running, biking or driving? Sometimes I zen out and almost run into things while running....haven't quite actually ran into anything YET.
