Today I ate:  3 donuts and some leftover wedding cake for breakfast and 3 donuts for lunch.  No dinner.  No time.  I drank maybe a half bottle of water throughout the day.  Wow.

I drove from job A to job B (like 2.5 miles apart).  Yes, I, the person that doesn't have time to breathe, took a second job.  Why do I agree to help people out?  Argh.  I don't have time for this, but I'm doing it anyways.  We were having a meeting at 6PM which gave me an hour to kill.  So, I played on my bike for about 40 minutes, covering 11 miles.  Temps actually weren't tooooooooo terribly bad this afternoon (like 90ish?)  with a little breeze so this was enjoyable.  I still wish I would've ran.  Oh well.

This was my second longest bike ride ever; the longest being when I was about 8 years old and my family went for a bike-ride around Cades Cove in Gatlinburg, TN.  Goodness I love that place.  I bet 95% of y'all haven't even heard of it.  That ride was like 12ish miles and I cried like a baby.  It was hilly and a lot of work for an 8-year old.  I finished though.  I'd like to go back now and redeem myself with no tears. :)

Update:  Now, the next day, my "sit bones" hurt.  Ouch!  I didn't wear bike shorts and am regretting that now.  Who knew sitting at a desk all day could be so uncomfortable?

I can't think of a less healthy more delicious daily diet.

That's my kind of carb-loading for a workout!

From The Quiet Pirate on Thu, Jul 01, 2010 at 16:07:02 from 65.191.108.72

mmm...donuts (the way Homer Simpson says it).

My sit down was sore for 4 days after my mountain biking fun last week.

Hope you get a chance to run in while the weather is cooler.

You really did not eat much, all things considered!

SIT BONES, that is a yoga teacher term! Hope they feel better soon.

From KP on Thu, Jul 01, 2010 at 18:32:30 from 198.200.158.140

my yoga instructor calls them that too, kelli!

i know i didn't eat much. i really did not have the time. i guess i could've eaten rather than going for a bike ride, but i think i made the right decision. i enjoyed it. i am so unhealthy. i should log all my food on here for y'all. some people would likely croak.

From auntieem on Thu, Jul 01, 2010 at 19:17:12 from 24.18.77.246

I hear ya' about the sitting bones! Ouch. Get some bike shorts, girl! And, the butt does get used to the bike seat after awhile. Congratulations on the bike ride.

Two jobs! Yikes, you are sooo busy. I would definitely croak if I ate doughnuts all day! You are a lucky girl.

i read "'sit bones'" and it brought me right back to my yoga class with emerald green. yes, that was her name. her real life name.

so what is the new job? good luck. and nice bike ride, too.

2 jobs----that is just preparing her for marriage and motherhood!!! *wink*wink*

My Yoga teacher's name is Wendy. Whenever she talks I think of Tinker Bell, though. I am very irreverent in Yoga. Whenever she says, "Keep your abs tight," I think she says something else and I always laugh. 4 years later and it still cracks me up, I am like an 8 year old!

Now, we really could hold a competition on food and I know I would win. I eat like crap, but I love every minute of it (and then I go run an extra 5-10 miles to try and negate it!!)

Bike butt always gets me! It is worse on a real bike vs a spinner. Love your breakfast!

From flatlander on Fri, Jul 02, 2010 at 00:01:47 from 76.31.26.153

Good job on the bike, I couldn't last that long on one. Cades Cove sounds like a destination, have to check it out sometime.

From RAD on Fri, Jul 02, 2010 at 11:06:11 from 67.172.229.125

mmm...I wish I HAD six doughnuts to eat. I hope you got all the sprinkle ones, they are my favorite!!

Nice work on the bike ride, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to go back to spin. Such a long break off and I'll have to toughen up my 'sit bones' again. NOT fun!

the second job would be working at an antique shop. my cousin has owned a small one for years and is opening a larger one. i have always loved antiques (i know... an odd hobby for someone so young) and have gone to auctions and stuff with my granddaddy and cousin for years. they know that i have a busy schedule, so i will only be working the occasional saturday for the most part. he also puts stuff on ebay, and i am now going to be in charge of that. oh joy! we'll see how it goes. the grand opening is in a few weeks.

i'm just hoping to score some sweet stuff. my cousin has always sold me anything i want that he has at what price he paid for it, so i've gotten some cool stuff from him over the years for pretty cheap.

You should get a new bike seat! I am also "trying to like biking" in the attempt to do a sprint triathlon, and getting a new bike seat made alllll the difference in the world! Its much bigger so my butt actually fits on it! I highly recommend it, if I remember later I'll look and see what it is called. Now I want a donut!
