Soooooooo exhausted after the weekend. 23 girls on a weekend trip = no sleep. It was fun though!

Did a double Panorma Loop. Ran the first loop backwards by myself and the second loop a little slower with my friends. 5.5 miles total. I started about 5:15; car said it was 95* on the mountain. Whew! Talked about marriage on the second loop tonight. I am the only non-married one of my group, and after tonight I plan to stay that way for quite a while! Those women are hilarious. I guess that is why we run together though... so we can vent our problems to our friends when needed. Since I don't really have any experience in the marriage department, I just listen and soak in everything they say. They are going to turn me into a He-Man Woman Haters Club member (name that movie), but opposite... She-Woman Man Haters, I guess it would be. DO NOT look that up on Urban Dictionary. HA!

Did 1 mile of speedwork with my little gymnast. She was able to do 1 mile in 8:41. She is quite speedy for her age and not being a runner at all. Her mom told me last night that she is telling everyone at gymnastics that she has a "running coach" working with her. Hahaha. Too funny. Kids are the cutest.

Stopped on my way home and treated myself to a cookies n cream milkshake from the local ice cream shop. That was a tasty dinner!

You need to come and run with me and we can run past my house and wave as my husband shakes the rugs and then stop by when we are done for a protein shake that he will whip up and lounge in my spotless family room that he just vacuumed! Nope, 2 younger, married, and LAZY brothers! He did not come this way, I had to train him. But it was well worth the years of tricking him into work, now he thinks it is his job....

Well, Burt, that was 18 years ago. Things have changed! On Sunday he got up and made me pancakes and bacon! He served me lunch in bed because I was reading, and then, at dinner I was not hungry so I just kept reading and he fed all of the kids. He is NEAR perfect.

I love Oreo Shakes, too. I love any kind of shake. You should try banana chocolate chip.

Husbands are good to have when you're at a point when you're ready for one. They're just like women- each one has their own special baggage that they come with. Just make sure you like the type of luggage you're going to be traveling with through your life.

And shakes are the best because they have ice cream in them!! I had a strawberry golden oreo blizzard yesterday. talk about nom nom nom nom...
