Ran a local race.  Nothing special.  I have been sick with sinus issues and probably shouldn't have done this.  I definitely had trouble breathing.  It's a tough, hilly course, but I enjoyed it.  Started with my friends, but over the miles we split up a bit.  Official time - 30:48.  It is a sub 10mm pace, which is really all I wanted.

You met your goal even being sick and on a tough course. Imagine what you could do on a nice downhill one? :)

I hope that snot gets out of your head soon and you can breath easier!

Good job on meeting your goal! And you're such a trooper for doing the race even though you were sick.

hi guys! thanks for checking in! the pussyness is all gone, QP! i had emergency surgery to remove my tonsils friday night. it was an overwhelming day, to say the least. i'm doing much better now! i've had the whole week off of work and am enjoying resting. the doc said no exercise of any kind for 2 weeks. i'm going a bit stir-crazy, but am trying my best to listen to him. so far, so good. i'm on pretty strong pain meds, so i haven't been out and about; just home in my jammies watching my favorite movies and eating popsicles. pretty boring, but that is my update!

From allie on Thu, Oct 28, 2010 at 19:57:59 from 174.23.195.124

thanks for the update. glad to hear you are doing well. i'll stop by with a slurpee later on tonight.
