I ate lunch at 2:30.  A salad from Zaxby's, known as a "zalad."  I'm not sure if most of y'all have those.  Delicious!

Then off to the mountain to do trails.  I hoped to get in 7 miles and improve upon my horrible run from Saturday morning.

Less than 30 minutes wasn't enough time for my stomach to digest.  I run after eating a lot and normally don't have problems.  I'm thinking it was either the ranch dressing or the lettuce that did me in.  Plus the 100ish degree temps.  I threw up twice in the first mile.  BLAH.

Run/walk/hobble/crawl after that just to get back to my car.  I felt horrible.

Also saw a snake that kinda creeped me out because he was slithering.  Ick.

Got back to my car and saw a naked man in the parking lot.  Disgusting.  He was changing out of his hiking clothes.  Disgusting.

Terrible weekend for my running.  Hopefully this next week will go better.

Amazing run, sorry about all the troubles. Sounds like you toured a haunted house for runners. But in defense of snakes, they are supposed to slither.

ugghhh.. I hate when its so close after eating you can still tell what you ate! I'm glad you made it back to the car okay, I'm sure this week will be better. Oh, and I HATE snakes too!

Funny! I can't decide which is worse. I hate seeing naked men as much as the next but I'm a bit Indian Jones when it comes to snakes.

Just think, if you had seen the naked guy first then you could have thrown up before you started running and things might have played out differently. Did you tell the snake about the naked man? match made in heaven; or maybe he would have icked the snake out too.

naked man was trying to block himself with his car door, but he wasn't doing a good job. i got a full backside view and did not enjoy it. lucky me!

zaxby's is delicious, but I never order the zalad, gotta go for the sandwich with hot sauce and buttered bread along side a huge pile of french fries

sorry you got sick, and really sorry to hear you had to catch a naked man. Between the snake and the naked man and the forest, it all sounds very garden of eden-esque....but calling zaxby's zalad forbidden fruit may be taking it a little too far :-)
