Hills.

My body is paying back for taking nearly 2 weeks off.  This run wasn't much better than Tuesday's, but at least I got it done.  I'll get my mojo back eventually.  My calves and hammies were t-i-g-h-t, which is not a common problem for me.  I need to stretch more.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!  I'm going to Washington DC tomorrow, so yet another Saturday without a long run.  To be honest, I'm totally okay with it!

y'all should see her at races: she always wears dark sunglasses and one of those one-ear pieces that has a squiggly wire going back down into the back of her shirt. when the starting gun fires, she always inexplicably jumps to the ground, does a summersault, pulls out a pistol, and starts talking into her cufflinks.

it all makes sense now...

ha ha ha ha ha!! Awesome Nevels! I am going to HAVE to run a 50K some day, just so I can run with you!

Glad you got the run in, you super sleuth! Someday I won't notice when I'm running uphill, it may take until I'm 50, but I WILL learn to love them.

KP - Welcome back. I hope you had a good time in DC.

RAD, drop me a line when you find the secret to running hills and loving them!

I have one of those ear-thingies!! I may just have to see what kind of response I get by wearing it to one of these local races. I'll pick out someone running and just follow them...and talk into my garmin...oh, I could have fun with this. Especially if Wyatt runs with me packin' heat.

thanks for the great ideas, y'all!!

KP- hope your trip was great and you didn't get pulled over on this trip by the lovely VA state troopers. Are the trees changing colors yet in the blue ridge?
